‘Hi My names Ryan and I’m Head Trainer and one of the owners at SoCal Gym.
I’ve been a trainer for 16+ years and have personally been training for 20+ years in the gym and in a number of sports.
Throughout my career I’ve worked with hundreds of clients with goals from everything from: weightless, building muscle, health optimization, competition prep, rehab, strength gain… pretty much everything.
Constantly developing knowledge is really important to me and in my career I’ve had the chance to work with some of the industry’s leading experts as as mentors and coaches, the highlight being I was personally trained by Mike O’hearn for 4 years.
I’m abig dog lover and have love for all things California, My dream is to one day own a ranch in America and live with as many rescue dogs as possible.’

Amy
MANAGER / TRAINER
Hi! I’m Amy, I’ve been training myself for the past 15 years, and training others for the past 6.
My introduction to training was mostly through a typical ‘bro-split’ training style, before dabbling in powerlifting and setting a district junior deadlift record when I was 17.
I later transitioned this into more aesthetic based training, and learned to let go of things that no longer fit the physique I wanted to create, instead choosing to find my own style focused on emphasizing a strong but also ‘feminine’ physique.
Training with me you can expect to get really freaking strong, build and sustain the shape you want, develop healthier eating habits, and fall in love with training.
I simultaneously have a background in Counseling and Cognitive behavioral therapy, working in both NHS and private mental health sectors.
I like to think this helps me consider all factors that might be inhibiting progress, such as stress, sleep issues etc.
I’m also Co-Owner and General Manager here at SoCal, so always around and happy to answer any questions!

BIO:
‘Hiya, I'm Charlie and I am a certified women's personal trainer and have been training my lovely ladies for 4 years now! I have a long background in dance and have been lifting weights for 6 years, starting with powerlifting and in the last 2 years moving over to bodybuilding, aspiring to compete in the bikini division.
I have built a community of women who are not afraid to take up their space in the gym and my ongoing mission is to help women gain strength, build muscle, lose weight and cultivate a healthy relationship with fitness and nutrition.
From a background of disordered eating and binging, I have learnt how to reach my goals without restriction, prioritising living, and have helped other women navigate bad body image and food guilt.
I think it's really important as a woman to be in touch with our bodies alongside training. We will learn to figure out how to train around YOUR menstrual cycle, understand when you need rest and figure out how strong you truly are, pushing past mental barriers but also knowing when to slow down.

Hi, I’m Kacper
I’m a personal trainer who’s all about helping you become better and stronger - not just physically, but mentally too. I pull from a mix of training styles like strength work, functional fitness, hypertrophy, endurance and mobility work, so nothing ever feels one-dimensional, boring or punitive.
The introduction to training came to me from hating the way I felt and looked physically. Growing up severely skinny I knew internally I needed to make a change. With that, I not only went on to develop my body physically, I’m simultaneously developing my knowledge in how the body works and how change within is created.
I’m always learning and pushing myself personally, so I can provide you with the best possible support and information. My aim is to create a space where you feel challenged, supported and motivated to keep improving inside the gym which then transcends into your life outside the gym floor.
Everything I coach is tailored to you - your goals, your level and your lifestyle. Whether you want to build muscle, get fitter, move better or just feel more confident - I will get you there with real work and consistent progress.

Hello, I’m Eamonn, a personal trainer with the mindset of lift heavy and have fun doing it.
With 5 years experience working with a variety of clients out of different gyms and fitness spaces, it’s time for me to settle down at SoCal.
After spending years being skinny while young and playing sports, seeing no muscle mass or growth at all. I swapped the boots for barbells and found my love for the gym, and started seeing the size come through, all whilst having a whole lot of fun along the way!
I am able to use my knowledge, expertise and humour to tailor all sessions to your goals. I believe in training heavy and working hard, and the best way to do that is with me by your side motivating you all the way. 'Hi, I'm Alex!
I'm a serving member of the Royal Navy and have been for the last 7 years, since 2018, as an aircraft engineer. My fitness journey began whilst on my promotion course back in January 2023 when I decided that although I wasn't unfit, I wasn't satisfied with the person I saw in the mirror and knew I had more to give.
In the few years since then, I've sculpted myself into someone who is not only stronger physically but also mentally, building better habits along the way and enjoying life a lot more. It was only 6 months into my training when I realised I got more enjoyment out of helping my workmates reach new PB's in the gym than I did when I hit my own and that's when I started my study to become a PT.
Due to the nature of my job, my coaching philosophy is made up of 2 core principles, consistency and flexibility. I fully understand that life gets in the way and not everyone has the time or capacity to be in the gym for long periods multiple times a week and I enjoy finding ways to help committed clients work around these obstacles. Having represented the RN in football, volleyball and now powerlifting, I know what it takes to perform at high levels of sport as well.
Outside of work and the gym, I've been told I'm a bit of a nerd who loves to travel. You'll often find me watching Harry Potter, playing video games or on Skyscanner!
